The Vision

GOD'S MISSION IS OUR PRIORITY

We believe God is actively at work to redeem the world. We believe that FWB Nazarene is called to work alongside God in sharing the gospel, promoting justice, redeeming relationships, and living into the reality of God’s Kingdom.

We are to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind," (Luke 10:27). God calls us to grow continually, and FWB Nazarene is here to help you do that, because we're always growing as well.

WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER

We value our faith community, and enjoy worshiping, learning, eating, talking, laughing and crying with, supporting, and helping one another.

Since "the Word became flesh and lived among us," (John 1:14), we believe that our church family is uniquely placed to love and support our immediate neighborhood, and we strive to be a beacon of hope to our area.

We Believe

WE BELIEVE in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living

WE BELIEVE that human beings are born with a fallen nature, and are, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

WE BELIEVE that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

WE BELIEVE that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.

WE BELIEVE that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

WE BELIEVE that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
